The most significant affect that I have noticed during my week plus of regular floating has been the extra energy that I seem to have. I bolt out of bed now at 6am and get right into a routine. I have had great energy in the gym during my workouts and hardly seem to realize it is before 7am. Which was my wake up time not too long ago. Here is a meditation technique that I use in the float tank.
Two great points in the article are not to get discouraged when your mind wanders and be consistent with it. Meditation is something that has to be practiced regularly. I believe that Floatation Therapy is a tremendous way to kick start a meditation regimen. Your ability to relax and calm your mind in the tank far exceeds that of when you are sitting on your couch. There are medicines which are treat an illness. But most of the times it cannot cure it from the root. It is when meditation and therapy like floatation tank come into existence. It affects on your thoughts. When your thoughts become positive you create the positive ambiance which surrounds you and cure you from within.
